Service Architect Solution Design ITIL Amsterdam Netherlands. A global IT services company requires a Service Architect or Service Designer or Service Solution Architect, you will be responsible for working on and winning new bids and responding to ITT's and RFP's from a Service Architecture perspective. You will contribute to the development of IT service strategy and service management methodology, developing designs for new services, supporting service transition, operation and subsequent service improvements as part of the service life cycle. You will also play a key role in promoting service management and ITIL processes so you must be an expert in ITIL.

You must speak Dutch and English and have experience in the following:

- Gathering requirements for bid/pre sales responses, and engaging with clients to develop IT managed services
- Developing Service Designs for new and improved services to meet and fulfil customers business requirements
- Negotiating and agreeing levels of service to be delivered ie SLAs, OLAs and underpinning agreements and ensuring that targets agreed within underpinning contracts are aligned with SLA and SLR targets
- Working closely with service management personnel particularly during transition, operation and supporting continual service improvement
- Design & measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the Service Design & transition processes and making continuous improvements
- Integrated ITIL process design through facilitated client workshops
- Complete end to end project design to cover integrated processes, tools and organisations
- Process and Tool maturity assessments and recommendations and providing ITIL best practice advice and guidance
- Management and successful resolution of situations which may involve conflicting opinions
- Recognise the key business drivers and those areas of business need that are not adequately supported by current and planned IT services
- Recommend proactive, innovative IT solutions for the improvement of IT design, transition and operation
- Experience in working closely with Sales and Marketing groups and ideally, defining end-to-end service offerings
- Experience of bid management and service delivery
