Server & Storage System Engineer Citrix & VMWare in Walloon Brabant for a 6 months contract (FR-EN)

We are looking for a Server & Storage System Engineer (Citrix & VMWare) for a contract (of 6 months) in Walloon Brabant for an international company, with the aim to handle the transition of servers from design to operations (via implementation, configuration and support).

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Location: Walloon Brabant

Mission:

- Install, configure and upgrade of
- virtualization, continuity plan and backup
- storage, servers and related hardware and software
- Investigate, test diagnostic and resolve system, hardware, software and infrastructure incidents, following change management process
- Write and maintain technical documentation and procedures
- Server and Storage Design is not included in the job

Profile:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position
- Excellent spoken and written skills in French and English
- Windows Server 2008 certifications or higher is mandatory
- ITIL v3 Foundations certification is a plus
- Strong affinity with IT evolutions
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server Products and Applications 2008 or higher
- Strong knowledge of HP Hardware Blade and DL servers
- Strong knowledge of VMWare 5 or higher and of Citrix 6.5 or higher
- Strong knowledge of Storage and SAN Systems: HP, IBM or Brocade
- Good Knowledge of VB Script and PowerShell, MS SQL, Network
- On Duty: The candidate will accept to be on call about once every 10 weeks
- Strong analytical skills
- Autonomous, can work independently as well as team player
- Service Minded - Familiar with the fundamentals of IT Service Management and SLA's
- Coping With Stress in Crisis Situations
