Server Manager

Server Asset Manager being sought for a global financial company in Sweden, Stockholm. The successful candidate will be responsible for asset management within the Global System Administration function. You will maintain records and databases (CMDB) containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's server platforms. Minimize organizational costs through standardization, maintaining proper balance between maintenance and spare parts. Track systems quality throughout the product's life. You will also develop and implement procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their life cycles and cost allocation. The work is very influenced by ITIL concepts, practices, and procedures. The assignment requires that you are interested in technology and infrastructure operation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
1. Manage and maintain inventory of physical Servers.
2. Manage the life cycle of server related assets and OS licenses.
3. Manage and dispatch server related purchase orders.
4. Maintenance of tracking systems for Servers.
5. Manage and maintain inventory of virtual Servers.
6. Update processes and procedures surrounding server purchasing and deployment.
7. Compiles statistical KPI metrics for management on a monthly basis.

REQUIREMENTS
1-2 years' experience in Information Technology asset management.
ITIL and/or ITAM experience is an advantage.
Experience with Excel required.
Experience with Asset Management Tools preferred.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles required.
Candidate must have excellent analytical and organizational skills as well as good oral and written communication skills.
