Server Engineer - Active Secret Clearance

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SERVER ENGINEER - SECRET CLEARANCE to join our client in Arlington, VA.

POSSESSION OF A DOD SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Configure, implement and troubleshoot Windows Server application to include Exchange 2010, SQL Server 2008, IIS and Custom applications that currently tie into the SharePoint 2010 environment.
- Build, install and configure Servers to be compatible with a Windows DoD environment.
- Work consistently with VMware and Windows 2008 R2
- Server management, networking, monitoring/uptime, platform upgrades, and backup operations.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE IS MANDATORY
- Five plus (5+) years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in a DoD environment.
- Takes ownership of their domain, and willing to lead its evolution.
- Strong problem solving abilities.
- Dedication to quality and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated, proactive, team player with good organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral).

REQUIRED TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

- The SA must have strong knowledge Active Directory, DNS, and VMware.
- Expert on Microsoft Exchange.
- Expert on Active Directory.
- Expert on Microsoft Networking.
- Expert on VMware.
- Addition experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Microsoft SQL server, SharePoint Server Scripting (logon scripts, application deployment scripts, etc.), IIS SCOM.
