Server Adminstrator

Synergy Consulting Group is looking for a Server Administrator for a long-term contract with a great company around Findlay, OH.

In this position you will be a team member supporting the terminal infrastructure for the organization.

This position could pay up to $40 per hour.

Sponsorship is not available for this position.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Perform administration and trouble-shooting of Windows Servers, the local area network (LAN), and its components.

Includes activities such as daily server backups, anti-virus protection, patching, performance tuning, security changes, group policy changes...

QUALIFICATIONS: 

- VMWare - solid understanding
- Experience with monitoring tools/reviewing event logs, etc.
- Change Management & Documentation
- Linux a plus
- SQL background a plus
- Cognizant of security
- Strong organization skills
- Detailed oriented 
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be necessary
- Operations are 24x7 which means the candidate could be called upon to perform duties during off hours
- Bachelors  Degree preferred
- 3 years minimum preferred
