Server Administrator

Overview:

My client, a leading software provider for the commercial industry is looking for a junior server administrator for initially a 3-6 month contract to work on a server migration project.

This project will involve virtualizing Servers using VMware software due to the migration from one data centre to another, with some server administration along the way.

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively unsupervised and have the ability to hit the ground running. They must be a forward thinking and have the ability to overcome issues that arise.

Key Skills Required:

- Experience with VMware (Essential)
- IP Configuration
- Virtual environment experience
- General server admin experience
- They ideally want someone open to working on a rota basis to minimise server down time.
