OUR CLIENT IS A LEADING FINANCIAL INSTITUTION AND THEY ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A SEPA PROGRAMME MIGRATION CONSULTANT FOR A CONTRACT POSITION IN DUBLIN.

BACKGROUND ON ROLE

The European SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) legislation aims to create an integrated Pan-European payments market that will standardise how electronic payments in Euro are made among the 32 SEPA member countries.

The BOI SEPA programme is targeted with migrating BOI customers from domestic based Legacy payment systems/services to new SEPA compliant systems/services by 1st February 2014.

A specific purpose business migration team has been established in order to achieve this goal.

JOB/OPPORTUNITY

The purpose of this role is to manage the migration of a number of assigned customers to the new SEPA payments processing services.It will involve regular communication with assigned customers and the owner of the role is responsible for ensuring the customer is prepared for SEPA migration in addition to supporting and managing the customers through it.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- Develop an in-depth understanding of the new SEPA services to bring customers on the migration journey in a fully supported and seamless manner
- Develop a knowledge and understanding of existing Legacy systems to effectively liaise with customers in relation to their migration requirements
- Manage a customer listing to ensure that each customer is migrated and receives a high quality of customer service
- Commitment to delivering a consistent high level of service to external customers in relation to SEPA migration
- Work as part of a broader migration team to achieve the SEPA migration goals
- Ensure all customer complaints are dealt with in accordance with the customer complaints process
- Ensure all customer interactions are recorded in an appropriate manner
- Ensure that reporting on progress is up to date and to sufficient quality for senior management
- Liaise and communicate with customers' relationship managers to ensure that all internal stakeholders are kept up to date in relation to their customer
- Participate in broader team activities and request on an ad-hoc basis as required

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Excellent problem solving skills and an ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment
- Previous experience with financial electronic banking services/payments knowledge (preferable)
- Previous experience within a customer focused environment and proven track record of delivering on service
- Team player with the ability to work on own initiative and also to support others within the team in a diverse and dynamic environment
- Quick Learner with ability to absorb knowledge and replay it to others
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential as well as the ability to interpret information and communicate it confidently and clearly both verbally and in writing
- Excellent administration & organisational skills
- PC literate and familiarity with most MS Applications
- 3rd level qualification
- Clean full Irish/European Drivers licence
