Senior.NET Developer with Sharepoint

The Senior.NET Developer will be responsible for providing development and support of applications and services to meet the needs of the business through completion of business analysis, programming, documenting, testing and training. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible setting software development standards.

Current environment is based on a 2-tier infrastructure, but a 3-tier architecture is currently being designed. This position will operate in both architectures and will be responsible for determining the appropriate architecture for new solutions, as well as identifying existing applications that should move from 2-tier to 3 tier architecture. This position will support a combination of new solutions and Legacy solutions and must be proficient in newer programming technology and best practices including.NET. These.NET programs will be accessed by SharePoint.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Provides development of application and logic tier software to meet the needs of the business.
- Performs business and technical requirements analysis and program design.
- Designs and develops fully-functional applications that meet specifications based on best practices.
- Develops system test criteria and participates in systems testing.
- Responds to, isolates, and resolves programming problems for newer and Legacy applications.
- Documents software modules and program code following best practices.
- Contributes to creation of workflows and best practices.
- Migrates Legacy applications to newer platforms.
- Develops and reviews new products and how they'll integrate into the existing work flow.
- Makes recommendations for standards for programming languages and methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Technologies and languages.NET (C#.NET, Microsoft.NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET), VBA, REST, Web Services, HTML, XML/XSL, JSON, IIS, MVC
- Experience developing enterprise portals, workflows and services using SharePoint highly desired
- Experience with SQL Server for connectivity/data storage
- Professional, independent, reliable, intelligent, able to take direction and ownership, great sense of humor, hard worker
