Role: Senior Workforce Advisor
Location: Milton Keynes

We have an urgent requirement for a Senior Workforce Advisor to provide professional Human Resources (HR) support, advice and guidance services to managers and employees. Duties will include assisting managers where needed on all areas of HR including conduct, work performance and sickness absence issues and to support line managers in developing the organisation as a "great employer" by helping to develop a team culture by building on leadership and management capability.

Essential Skills include:
- CIPD Qualified or previous relevant experience
- Demonstrable experience of working in a senior HR role
- Able to build highly effective and collaborative working relationships with line

managers and colleagues.
- Diagnostic and advisory skills - the ability to analyse a problem/situation,

think creatively and advise on a range of options.
- Able to coach line managers in order to develop their management capability.
- Able to present and interpret people and Management Information data.
- In-depth knowledge and experience of working in an operational HR role.
- Experience of managing an operational HR service.
- Creating and delivering informative presentations/training.
- Employee relations experience, including consultation and negotiation with

trade unions.
- Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and potential

future developments.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills.
