SENIOR WORKFLOW ANALYST

Our client a major player in the Australian telecommunications industry is looking for 2. SENIOR WORKFLOW ANALYSTS to develop resource strategies and models based on data trends and patterns. Successful candidates must be available immediately and have the ability to develop automated tools and systems to build short term demand forecasts. In addition, you will have the accountability to further improve and maintain an existing long term configuration tool in order to match supply versus customer demand. You will work closely with the Resource Strategy Manager who will provide operational guidance.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

- Deliver advanced statistical-based modelling capabilities across multiple and complex data sources that will be used as the basis for making strategic recommendations;
- Translate complex technical information and requirements into business-related outcomes;
- Providing advice on the viability of initiatives based on sound Datamodelling and analysis;
- Presenting data and assisting in the communication of that data to influence decision making and detailed implementation plans.

To be considered for the role you must have the following:

- Degree qualified in either Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or Engineering;
- Preferably at least 5 to 7 years experience in a data analytics role;
- Knowledge of RDBMS and programming skills as well as analytics software tools such as R, SAS and SPSS;
- Business and financial acumen, with the ability to understand commercial objectives
