SENIOR WINTEL ENGINEER/AMSTELVEEN

ENDEAVOUR RECRUITMENT has a fantastic contract opportunity for a Senior Wintel Engineer to work for our Financial Services client in the beautiful city of Amstelveen, Netherlands.

TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

You will have technical leadership experience and knowledge of complex IT infrastructure and End to end knowledge of  IT infrastructure, datacentre in Web base applications and install base applications with the use of virtualization methods especially Front End components with use of App-v, Terminal Servers, CITRIX and Xen-desktop.

You will be able to lead and support a team of highly qualified IT engineers regarding team arrangements and daily base activities to rich defined TOPS2020 targets within agreed timelines.

You will be able to translate Project Detail Design(PDD) to technical solutions and be able to execute full installation and configuration of Wintel based applications and give needed guidance to the other Wintel engineers.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Windows MSCE certified 
- Senior experience on Windows 2003/2008 Server
- Familiar with security and compliancy in a Windows environment
- Knowledge of Vmware
- Good knowledge of server roles like: IIS, TS, SQL, Printing, RDP services

Certified for ESX3.x or later version. - MS-cluster.
- Current TSM Wintel client versions.
- Current TSM TDP versions.
- Knowledge of (IBM Tivoli) Monitoring.
- Knowledge of and experience of SAN environments.
- Knowledge of SMS
- Knowledge of ISA.
- Knowledge of CITRIX Presentation Server actual version.
- Thorough knowledge of ITIL processes.

Please note that a PES certificate will be required

LOCATION: Amstelveen, Netherlands.

RATE: €56 per hour Dependent on experience.

DURATION: 6 months
