Senior Windows Engineer VMWare/ Storage -Amsterdam You have ample experience working as a Windows engineer on design level? You have an affinity with financial markets? For a leading financial institution I am currently searching for a Senior Windows engineer with specialties in Virtualisation en Storage for a permanent position within a highly specialised and professional team. Senior Windows Engineer -Amsterdam In this role you will be designing, troubleshooting, and leading high-tech, innovative projects for the organisation. You will be responsible for ensuring 100% availability of the mission critical systems, and will make sure incidents do not occur. You will be building on the next phase of office infrastructure of this technically state-of-the-art company, doing research in the latest technologies, working with different departments, and being in direct contact with technology vendors. As a senior, you enjoy coaching the junior engineers on the team. Your technical profile (MUSTS): - A technical university degree - MCITP certification - Minimum of 7 years working experience - Excellent knowledge on design level of: Windows OS, VMWare, AD, Exchange, SAN and NAS - Strong knowledge of clustering - Knowledge of scripting Competencies (MUSTS): - Creative, out of the box thinker - Analytical, strategic, responsible - willing and able to go to the next level - hard-working, able to cope with pressure - Excellent spoken and written English Your profile (NICE TO HAVE): - previous working experience in or affinity with the trading sector - experience in a role where you deal with all kinds of stakeholders The Offer: You will be offered a role in a first-class organisation in the Chicago Finance space.
