Senior Windows Engineer - OTE 100K+

Senior Windows Engineer Salary: Negotiable Salary circa 70-90k + Strong Hedge Fund Bonus (OTE £120K+) Location:Central London A growing innovative global hedge fund is looking to hire an exceptional windows engineer to be the subject matter expert for a range of diverse issues and tasks, alongside driving design, change and improvements for the windows environment. There will be a number of projects that the engineer will be a technical lead for advising on technologies, architectures and solutions. Ideal Skill Set: * Extensive Windows Engineering experience across OS, server, active directory etc * Strong Powershell/perl scripting/automation * PXE, DHCP, DNS * Patching and Monitoring (eg Cacti) * Other desirables include: exchange, networking, storage, virtualisation and clustering technologies. This role would suit a technology driven engineer who wants to work in a financial organisation that prioritise technology and its continued improvement. The ideal engineer will have a solid depth in core areas including OS/Platform with the natural ability for creative problem solving and producing innovative solutions. Previous financial experience, particularly in trading houses/hedge funds is desirable but not essential if the engineer has the right combination of technical and interpersonal skills.
