Senior Windows Consultant
Place: Brussels, Belgium
Length: 6 months (possible extension)
Start: ASAP

NOTE: Must be able for a face to face interview !
Job Description:
Total technical experience of 8-10 years.
Manage operational priorities and project requirements.
Handle Escalations from Daily Operations, get involved in problem management
Handle complex backup configuration tasks involving customized requirements
Handle Performance Management and Capacity Management Activities
Documentation and creation of knowledge base and procedures/work-packs
Attending meetings, War Rooms, sessions.
Supporting and troubleshooting Complex troubleshooting and co-ordination
Handle escalated incidents and get involved in problem, change management
Follow-up of performance and capacity issues
Vendor management
Perform/co-ordinate weekend/out-of-office hours interventions (as per a pre-decided calendar)
Perform On-call support after office hours (as per a pre-decided calendar)
Mandatory Technical Skills
Should have a working Knowledge of the following:
Windows server 2003 and 2008,
VMware vSphere 5.0,
System Center Operations manager
System Center Configurations Manager
HP Insight Manager
Windows Server 2012
Desired Experience
Should have handled complex migration projects involving vSphere ESXi 4.1 to vSphere ESXi 5.0, Windows server 2003 to Windows server 2008
Experience on VMware Administration
Extensive experience on Windows server installation and configuration
Knowledge of IT infrastructure monitoring using SCOM, SCCM and HP Insight manager.
Should have handled complex Data center consolidation and storage migration of over 500 virtual Servers.
Should have experience on Physical to Virtual migration of Servers

Strong Communication and Leadership Skills
Ability to Manage and Organise a team of technical staff.
Interpersonal skills
Strong Analytical and Quantitative skills
Good team member
Innovative and able to take new technical initiaitves
Good troubleshooting & Problem solving skills

Ready to work in shifts, including late evening shifts and weekend shifts as required
Knowledge of typical processes and best practices ITIL or equivalent is an asset
