For our client, a global broadband and video technology company focussing on End-to-End Platform transformation we are looking for a Senior WiFi Network Consultant on a freelance basis (f/m)

Project Start: ASAP

Project duration: 9 Months

Location: Berlin (with 40% EU Travel)

Languages: English Fluency is Mandatory.

Tasks:

* Serve as a senior technology advisor to major projects and programs. Lead Wi-Fi and Network capability development in EMEA.

* Collaborate with Global Practice teams and local Sales Engineering teams to assess and develop services opportunities and develop our services offerings.

* Participate in lab testing and benchmarking of network hardware and software features

* Design and maintain standard templates, reference architectures, and design patterns that assist solution architects to develop solutions to business unit requirements that use/re-use common technology platforms

* Design, configure and support the deployment of bespoke customer LANs, WANs, and wireless network solutions, including routers, hubs, switches and other 3rd party vendor Software and hardware products.

* Take ownership of the architecture process for network components and manage the lifecycle of each solution delivered

* Provide technical direction and leadership to resolve critical design or operational issues that affect development and deployment of new products and services in the enterprise

* May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity

* Develop and manage process for promoting the strategy and awareness of new/emerging technologies

* Solicit and evaluate technical contributions and proposals from vendor companies as necessary to meet future technical requirements

* Research, analyze, determine capabilities and propose technology solution alternatives that address specific business needs and product/service strategies across lines of business.

* Serve as an industry or technology expert, providing strategy oversight and planning for enterprise architecture

* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Languages:

Written and spoken English know-how is demanded, all documentation will be in English
