Senior Websphere Administrator

SENIOR WEBSPHERE ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Duration: 8 Month+ Contract

Rate: Negotiable

Start Date: 14th April/ASAP.

My client is currently for a senior level system administrator with extensive product knowledge of MQ FTE.

Requirements:

- Ability to plan, install and configure the product
- Implement applications,
- Set up distributed queuing,
- Enable appropriate security
- Administer and operate a queue manager network,
- Enforce organizational and operational standards
- Perform basic problem determination and implement clustering and publish/subscribe topologies.

Technical Requirements

- Working knowledge of WebSphere MQ and MQ clustering and File Transfer Systems.
- Working knowledge of supported operating systems (eg, Unix, Linux on Intel, Linux on zSeries, z/OS, Windows)
- Good understanding of messaging concepts as they relate to IBM WebSphere MQ
- Good understanding of JMS concepts
- Very good knowledge of networking concepts (eg, TCP/IP, SSL, etc)"
- Min 5 years working with MQ (version 7.5 pre)
- Min 2 years working with MQ FTE
- Experience of above within a project environment
- Knowledge of Axway suite (XFB- GFT- Synchrony Gateway)"

Qualifications

- Relevant and trackable work experience regarding file transfer support and implementations.
- Min. 5 years experience with MQ support and maintenance on Wintel Platform.
- MSCE certificate is prerequisite
