Senior Web Developer Job

SENIOR WEB DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Auburn Hills, MI.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for the on-time delivery of application design, configuration and development work
- Provides support to all members in the project team
- Support Execution and Metrics
- Ensure all assigned work would be implemented on project schedule.
- Responsible for working with PM and Technical Lead and business for implementation of the application based on the business requirement
- Follow the escalation process for any problems occurred during project implementation cycle
- Ensuring problems and technical issue are caught and resolved during development and testing phase
- Log and update any issues and recommend improvement plans
- Measure issue and problem response and recommend improvement plans
- Communicates with project team and business users as needed for issue updates and new changes.
- Project support
- Support tech lead and PM for projects for project activities
- Complete assigned project work on time
- Execute application regression testing activities as required
- Responsible for managing work load and good progress in daily and weekly status meeting
- Responsible for reviewing and working with project team for change integration and source control

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
- Five (5+) years of experience in the application development using Java SE, J2EE Core J2EE Patterns
- Understand Java EE Connector Architecture (JCA) with three (3) years of experience in EIS application integration and development
- Three (3) years of experience with WebSphere application technology and development and use RAD 7.5 or RAD8.0 IDE
- Three (3) years of Web technology experience, including dynamic web application development, web content management, use and development of tag libraries
- Three (3) years of experience in development of web pages using standard tags, JavaScript and CSS concepts
- Two (2) years of hands-on experience in use and development of: Web services, JQuery (or similar JavaScript API), JSON, Struts, Spring and Velocity
- Ability for design and implementation of Java EE compliant apps/components/services.
- Familiar with WebSphere Application Server configuration
- Three (3) years of database development experience with SQL and Oracle database experience
- Good knowledge on Web Portal design and development
- Decent knowledge on Web services design and development
- Good UML skills and ability to facilitate OO/J2EE design
- Familiar with the JUnit API by creating and running test cases
- Effectively participate in project meetings and discussion with productive opinions
- Good team player and ability to work on assigned work independently and willing to share working knowledge with team member
- Ability to develop solutions for technical issues and problems.
