Senior Web Application Developer Job

WEB APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Arlington, VA.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Experienced with developing rich websites/web applications
- Strong JavaScript development
- Five (5) years of software development with PHP, Python and/or Ruby on Rails
- Experienced with Agile/Scrum Framework

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Software design and implementation of web applications for Federal Agency Client
- Translate business requirements into software architecture.
- Work on an Agile Scrum team to guide discussions regarding design in code, content, and business rules engine.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience developing websites and web applications, including strong design sense and strong skills in information architecture and usability.
- Must be able to guide design discussions to ensure good practices with regards to design that should be in code, content, or business rules engine.
- Five plus (5+) years of JavaScript development.
- Two plus (2+) years working in Angular JavaScript framework (or Backbone or Ember).
- Five plus (5+) years software development experience in PHP, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with full software life cycle and deploying applications to production.
- MySQL.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Team lead experience.
- Graph databases.
- Jenkins or Bower (Build and Package Management).
- Demonstrated Agile (Scrum) experience.
