Our client, one of the world's largest Insurance Groups is looking for a Senior Web Analyst for a 6 month contract to be based in Swindon.

As a Senior Web Analyst you will be for responsible for turning digital analytics into business intelligence, customer insight and enabling impacting impactful change to the digital customer journey or results-driven campaign delivery. Working with business areas & analytic tools this role is accountable for reviewing the Management Information (MI) of digital marketing data to enhance data driven marketing activity, customer journey & the digital experience - site architecture, content and experience.

KEY DELIVERABLES

- Focus areas include:
- Infrastructure - Measurement & insight (site tagging) & linkage to Single Customer View
- Pilots - Simplified Life (pilot), Protection X (pilot) & online elements for Retirement proposition, such Direct Offer & aggregation (pilot) & Annuity Bureau (pilot)
- Capability - Live Person (experience), Service-tick (insight), CMS (personalisation & content)
- Drive, influence and support the implementation & development of web analytics tools and site tracking to deliver end-to-end sales funnel measurement. Provide insight across relevant co.uk & pilot landing pages. Include other key Connemara websites (including mobile/tablet), tools & business platform systems
- Shape and deliver a reporting framework to provide key insights for pilot testing, learning and refining onsite content to lift sales conversion, cross sell & upsell.
- Highlight key customer behaviours, insight and opportunities to enhance online experience and scale activity for increased site optimisation and propensity to purchase.
- Core success criteria - establishing KPI's & driving performance - through customer experience, transactional value (APE/NBV), lowering cost to serve, identification & resolution of failure & errors.

STRUCTURAL IMPLICATIONS:

- Digital analytics will become a core element within customer marketing & broader marketing team
- We do not currently have the skills sets internally to provide sufficient insight, reporting and learning to maximise online analytics capability the business will need for Connemara & wider business role out.
- Will provide a valuable link across business from marketing to business change to propositions & finance
- The role will enable transition into our new structure - establishing a digital analytics role under the Digital Marketing and E-commerce team.

REQUIRED SKILLS

- Good degree, in related area of study
- Minimum of 5 years marketing expertise focussing analytics (& preferably digital analytics)
- Experience of statistical analytics tools
- Excellent understanding & passion for web analytics & insight, experience in utilising tools such as Web-trends & Google Analytics
- Exposure/understanding business tools such as Visual Basic and Business Objects
- People leadership and collaboration in a new field for the organisation - ability to influence & manage a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work in teams, alone & cross-function - will be working closely with third-parties such as media agencies, Google & online analytic partners
- Open to working with ambiguity & effective a self-starter
- Able to demonstrate previous examples of culture and change management - enthusiasm and willingness to share knowledge & learning with wider team.
