Senior Web/.Net Developer

THE COMPANY

Our large government client in the Sydney CBD Location is currently looking for 2 x Senior Web/.Net Developer in the .NET technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Design, develop, test, deploy and support our clients application using.NET technologies in accordance with functional specifications
* Review customer functional specifications and estimate effort required to complete maintenance or development tasks.
* Deploying new releases into testing and production environments.
* Planning and working to the plan to ensure deadlines and service levels are met in the face of conflicting priorities.
* Actively participating in mentoring and coaching work colleagues in relation to the configuration, integration and installation of .NET technology.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCED REQUIRED:

* Senior developer level skills, strong hands on coding experience required
* Solid web services design/architecture experience on the .NET platform
* Experience with .NET 4.0 and MVC 3 is essential
* Strong experienced in Front End technologies including but not limited to .NET/Web forms/Javascript/AJAX/JQuery etc.
* Good knowledge of Web App development including responsive design, jquery mobile etc.
* iOS/Andriod App development experience is desirable
* Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design
* Good understanding of SOA
* At least 7 years experience on Microsoft platform and at least 5 years on .Net
* Ability to work under pressure and tight time-frames
* Solid experience in a large and complex commercial environment essential
* Solid understanding of SDLC, and experience working with Agile methodologies
* Microsoft Partner/consulting background desirable
* Appropriate tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
