Senior Voice Engineer - Brussels

Computer Futures is urgently looking for a Senior engineer (2nd Line Services and Network Assurance-Voice team) for a 6 months contract in Brussels center

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Scope:
Report to the 2nd Line Services and Network Assurance Team leader
Assure second line support for all Voice products and for all voice platforms (Sonus and Dialogic NGN platforms ,SBC, VoLTE etc )
Perform incident management as well as planned works .
Follow-up Network Availability/Quality and perform active and reactive maintenance actions.
Work with our 1st line / customer care team in order to find solutions for problems reported by our customers
Interact with our vendors and service providers: Initiating actions with the service providers and vendors where this is required to restore performance, reporting and tracking performance and issues.
Knowledge:
Minimum 6 years of experience in telecom ,mainly in voice switching area
You have strong knowledge of Telecom technologies and ITU/ETSI telecom standards/protocols (SS7/ISUP, VoIP / SIP,RTP,MGCP protocols etc. )
You have very good practical experience with troubleshooting the NGN platforms( Sonus or Dialogic switch /ACME SBC operational experience is advantage )
You have good operational knowledge of Unix and SQL commands
You have good knowledge about Transmission world and the equipment used there
You are fluent in English
