Due to continual organisational growth an opportunity has become available with our Sydney city based client for a SENIOR VMWARE ADMINISTRATOR. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will work with the collaborative Virtualisation team to provide senior administration of a large vSphere infrastructure across multiple data centres. The role will involve a mix of operational and project based responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have technical expertise in the following:

- Design, build and support of highly available ENTERPRISE SCALE VMWARE VSPHERE CLUSTERS
- VMWARE VSPHERE and related products (vCentre, Site Recovery Manager and VDS)
- Blade Server and top of rack switch technology, supporting VMware server virtualisation infrastructure
- STORAGE infrastructure and NETWORKING technologies
- Migration of physical systems to virtual infrastructure
- Scripting and automation experience
- VMware Certified Professional Certificate (VCP)

To compliment the above you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analysis and problem solving skills, and the ability to cooperate in teams.
