Senior Vendor/Contracts Manager

We are seeking a Vendor/Contract Manager for a 3 month contract position in Alpharetta, GA

Skills:

3+ years of Vendor Management Experience
3+ years of IT experience
Experience in vendor management, including management of third-party vendors and contract negotiation
Experience in project/asset management, contract administration and vendor relations in a technology environment are desirable
Analytical in his or her approach to problem solving with a focus on managing in a team environment with attention to results and with a sense of urgency
Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving/analysis skills
Ability to work well at all levels of the organization from executive and down, both in a team setting and as an individual contributor 

Responsibilities:

2. Purchase Order Requisitions A. Identify and Prioritize open PO reqs B.
Define regular cadence C. Write SOP D.
Training session for team on process

3. Telecom Invoices
A. Weekly meetings with AT&T a. validate accounts, invoices, payment status, combine accounts, etc. (risk mitigation)
B. Streamline payment process a. Validate POs, sufficient funding b. define regular cadence

Description:
Perform the execution of large-scale vendor engagements, ensuring effective contract management and performance to service targets.
Perform the management of the tactical and strategic relationships with vendors, ensuring alignment to company objectives.
Perform the procurement and renewal of 3rd party application software, maintaining an accurate software inventory and ensuring that software licenses are up to date.
Perform the evaluation of operations of vendors against agreed service levels.
Perform the establishment and execution of processes for authorization, confirmation and payment of vendors.
Suggest changes to contracts and assist in negotiation of changes.
Resolve service issues, escalating higher impact issues to management.
Perform the procurement process for new 3rd party application software.
Perform the renewal process for existing 3rd party application software maintenance and licensing. Experience working in a global ITS environment with vendor relationship/portfolio management experience.
