Senior Valuations Controller, IPV, Front Office

Main Duties
* Independent price verification, oversight of fair value adjustments, calculation of prudential valuation adjustments and escalation of valuation issues.
* Reporting results and conclusions to senior management with recommended actions.
* Liaising with Quantitative Analytics, Market Risk and Model Validation as part of the trade approval process.
* Analysis of valuation models & market data as part of the price verification process.
* Oversight and analysis of provision methodologies and oversight of product observability review processes.

Candidate Requirements
* 2:1 degree or equivalent at graduate level in mathematical/scientific discipline from top-tier University
* Solid options pricing knowledge.
* Top level IT skills: VBA, SQL, XML.
* Strong analytical skills
* Strong communication skills and the ability to present and discuss complex issues with counterparts from Trading, Finance, Market Risk and other areas.
* Ability to clearly p resent arguments and defend views under challenge from others.
* Problem solving and flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing business events.
* Strong interpersonal skills.
