Senior UX Developer (Contract)

CPL in partnership with a global tech company are seeking a UX/UI developer for a 6month contract in Dublin city centre. Strong Front End skills and crossbrowser development experience required.

This position has potential to convert to permanent after six months.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a UX role such as UX/UI Designer/Developer designing and developing clean and usable web applications
- Strong Front End development skills (HTML, CSS and JavaScript)
- Experience with JavaScript libraries (Dojo JS, Angular JS) and UI frameworks (Twitter Bootstrap)
- Experience with web and mobile development, inclusive responsive design
- Experience in various UX research and design techniques such as: requirements gathering and understanding, qualitative research methods, personas, user journeys, wireframing, task analysis, sketching, prototyping, usability testing, etc
- Experience with both early stage/new product conceptualization and feature enhancements of existing products
- Passion for elegant design, visual design flair and user experience
- Proficient in graphics design packages such as Adobe CS, able to create vector graphics such as icons as well as high fidelity graphic mockups
- Clear communicator with the ability to share your rationale for your design direction Excellent team player and motivational skills
- Experience working in agile environments such as SCRUM and exposure to Agile PM tools such as JIRA Agile, Confluence wiki
- Co-design and facilitation skills
- Experience with IBM BPM tool, portal customisation and coach UI development
