Senior UX Designers/Architects - Long term Contract - New York

On behalf of a global client of ours, we are searching for a number of highly experienced User Experience (UX) Designers/Architects for a long term contract in New York City.

This is truly an amazing opportunity to work in a niche and highly innovative group within my client's organisation, which is re-inventing the way they are delivering world class B2B tools and services to their consumers.

The successful candidates will be out-of-the-box thinkers and problem solvers. The head of the division fosters and encourages a creative and free-thinking environment. The successful candidates will be highly self sufficient, managing their workload and projects. Workflow and process efficiency should be priority.

The successful candidates will be working alongside cross-functional teams of Information Architects, UX and Visual Designers and Front End developers.

Key skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a User Experience Architect/Designer, Interaction Designer, User Interface Designer, Information Architect
- B2B web application design experience
- Contextual design experience
- Experience leading usability testing, Alpha/beta testing and user acceptance testing
- Experience with standard software tools for creating flowcharts, wire-frames and prototypes
- Knowledge of best practices for Web-based information architecture and design as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques
- Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, Omnigraffle, InvisionApp, Axure
- Front- and Back End coding skills (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc) would be beneficial though not essential
