Senior User Interface Developer - 6 Month Contract

Senior User Interface Developer position with a successful software development organisation on a 6 month contract based in the Republic of Ireland.

REQUIREMENTS

An excellent opportunity has just become available to work with an innovative software development organisation as a Senior User Interface Developer on a 6 month contract. This company offers a wide range of services to an ever growing client base and employs a wide range of technologies to provide the best solutions possible. As Senior User Interface Developer you will be working closely with the team to deliver an enterprise E-commerce application for a high profile client and complete all aspects closely linked to this role.

The ideal candidate for this position would be able to show at least 3 years proven experience implementing high traffic web applications with dynamic UI.

As Senior User Interface Developer you will be also able to show;

- Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, CSS3 and HTML5.
- Awareness of code management solutions.
- Experience of implementing Front End components that have been optimized for speed and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS frameworks and programming patterns.
- A keen eye for detail and design fidelity by showing extensive experience converting visual designs to HTML.

You would be a versatile candidate who is familiar with the software development life cycle and has experience of Agile development methodologies including, but not limited to, SCRUM. Experience with Java Servlet, JSTL, and JSP is an advantage, but by no means a necessity. Furthermore, having a good understanding of mobile web development and social media plugins such as Facebook and Twitter is desired.
