Job Title: Senior User Experience (UX) Architect

Type: Contract- 6 months (very likely to extend)

Location: North Atlanta

Our client is seeking a Senior User Experience Architect for a 6 month contract that is likely to extend longterm. The UX Architect will be responsible for contributing to the development of processes and strategies that enhance the online customer experience and maximize the revenue potential of our client. The ideal client works closely with creative, merchandising, and IT teams to implement solutions that will enhance consumer interaction with our client's E-commerce platform. The UX Architect will assist in the development of experience deliverables, including site maps, wireframes, and heuristic evaluations to depict layout, flow, and organization of our client. The candidate will also assist in the creation of UX solutions through design and research.

SENIOR UX ARCHITECT RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Research and develop innovative E-commerce experience that meet business, project, and design goals
- Collaborate with creative team, business stakeholders, and IT developers to ensure graphic design is consistent with user interface requirements and usability best practices
- Work cross functionally with IT, online creative, and online merchandising on the execution of releases and site enhancements
- Create detailed sitemaps, wireframes, user flow, and heuristic evaluations
- Develop navigation, interaction, and nomenclature systems and user interface models
- Provide the technical leadership of a project work team: may select team members and assess capabilities, provide technical training, provide information necessary to meet work, project or program objectives, evaluate program or project performance

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent degree, in a field of study related to the job
- 3 years of relevant work experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Demonstrated success with web-based application design, conceptualizing task flows and creating wire frames
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in user interface design for E-commerce, Internet and/or Intranet
- Experience in MS Visio or Adobe InDesign, working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop and the Microsoft Office product suite
- Proven experience with design direction, creative process, research strategy or equivalent user experience accomplishments
- Understanding of Content Management Systems preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
