Senior Unix/Linux Engineer

RHCSA/RHCSE/VCP/ESX4.1+/HP HARDWARE/HP LEFTHAND/TCP/IP/FIREWALLS/EPS SYSTEMS/C3000/SENIOR LINUX/UNIX ENGINEER

Montreal Associates is currently looking for a Senior Linux/Unix Engineer to join a leading organisation based in North Brabant. 6 month contract to start with but extensions are almost certain to follow. THIS IS A ROLL OUT EPS SYSTEMS PROJECT TO NEW CUSTOMERS.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE DOING THE FOLLOWING ON A DAY TO DAY BASIS:

- Construction and installation of a C3000 Blade setup (virtual storage, 3 RedhatVM's)
- AF configuration in accordance to network specification Veldhoven
- Installation on-site at the customers datacenter (eg Asia/Europe/U.S.): HENCE WHY THE WILLINGNESS TO TRAVEL INTERNATIONALLY IS ESSENTIAL

THE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:

- Red Hat certified system Administrator (RHCSA)
- Red Hat Certified System engineer (RHCSE)
- VMware certified professional (VCP) 4 (ESX4.1+)
- HP Hardware
- Storage (HP Lefthand Virtual storage appliance
- Networking (TCP/IP, Firewalls)
- Some knowledge and experience with Windows 2008 R3
- And it is essential for the candidate to have a minimum of 6 years in the business, who obtains alot of knowledge of the industry and tools
