Senior Unix and Storage Administrator

This is an excellent chance for an experienced engineer to get involved in a major technology refresh at one of WA's most recognisable brands. Ideally our client is looking for a 6 to 12 Month Fixed Term contractor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage corporate infrastructure and associated technologies to ensure business requirements are met and the technologies underpin the delivery of business solutions in support of corporate strategic direction.
- Design, implement, manage and forecast technologies to support existing, proposed and emerging business initiatives
- Design, implement, maintain and forecast Disaster Recovery platforms and solutions for key business functions in line with Business continuity Plans and Disaster recovery planning guidelines./
- Maintain current state architecture diagrams for all aspects of the infrastructure layer to support life cycle replacement programmes, including Change Control.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- In depth knowledge of HPUX, HP virtualisation
- Extensive Vendor training across Unix, Linux, NetApp Storage and VMware Virtualization
- Experience/knowledge in Linux: RHEL, OEL, Experience/knowledge in VMware
- Demonstrated experience in researching, testing, planning, documenting and implementing new technical initiatives
