Senior Unified Communications (UC)/VoIP (Cisco) Engineer, Banking, Bru

OBJECTIVE:

My client is a Brussels based international bank. As a member of the Voice and Network Engineering team you will be actively involved in designing and managing voice and Unified communications solutions.

Tasks:

You will join a UC team and be the senior Product Owner/expert bearing responsibility for all voice and UC related products and architecture. You will work in close cooperation with the Technical Domain Owner to define and manage the evolution of the UC domain.

- Study UC solutions which will help to deliver the bank's business services;
- Participation in projects from design through testing and implementation of the UC solutions;
- Help support engineers to support the delivered solutions.

You are interested to extend your experience in UC and voice or video related subjects. You have a general background in networking and are interested in evolving in this area also.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

You have 8+ years of experience in VoIP and video, UC environments;
You are an expert and have proven experience in the following areas;
Cisco CUCM, Cisco Unified Call Manager, Cisco Unified Presence server;
Cisco Voice gateways, CUBE based technologies;
Cisco Unity voicemail/Meetingplace Audio conferencing/Webex webconferencing;
Cisco Jabber based clients on various platforms;
Cisco Telepresence VCS/MCUs and C/EX series video endpoints;
Cisco UCCX or UCCE, Contact center solutions.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

Experience and interest in basic networking is a plus:
- Basic Cisco IOS knowledge;
- knowledge of basic network protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, ARP, Ethernet;
- knowledge of higher level protocol; DNS, DHCP, HTTP(S), FTP, etc.
- QoS knowledge;
- Unix, Windows.

Some training opportunities will be provided but we also expect you to have a self learning attitude.
Language: English essential; if you have any ability in French or Dutch, it will be an advantage (but not essential!).
