Senior Underground Production Engineer - FIFO Perth

Skye Recruitment are seeking a Senior Underground Production Engineer to join a base metals operation on a FIFO bases in WA.

This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.
Reporting to the Underground Manager n you will be responsible for facilitating the optimal extraction of ore from mining operations through the provision of a comprehensive production planning and scheduling services

Duties and responsibilities will:

Co-ordination of UG mine design, development, drill & blast and stoping.
Preparing underground mine plans, schedules, forecasts, reserves and budgets.
Maintaining contract cost and schedules for all work in progress.
Assisting in preparation of feasibility studies.
Liaison with underground mining work force and with other departments as required.
Compiling daily and monthly reports.

To be considered for this position you should possess:

Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrate a proactive and team oriented approach
Strong focus on Safety
