Senior Underground Mine Surveyor - FIFO Perth

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager you will play a key role in the Surveying Team for this gold operation and be involved in all mine surveying activities.

This role will suit a proactive person with strong interpersonal and communication skills. To be successful here you will need to be a highly organised individual who both thrives in an autonomous position but also enjoys working within a positive team environment.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Review all activities and processes in the surveying department
- Plan and oversee the collection of underground spatial data
- Weekly departmental planning
- Management of departmental budget
- Approval of mining plans
- Auditing field works/staff appraisals
- Train and mentor staff

You will need:

- 5 + years in survey experience in underground operations
- A relevant degree qualification in Mine Surveying or Diploma of Engineering and Mine Surveying.
- Authorised Mine Surveyor's Certificate of Competency Grade 1
- A thorough understanding of surveying and of survey geometry
- Mine design
- Experience in leading a team of surveyors
- Vulcan experience

Salaries for this role will be between $140,000 - $160,000 per annum however we will look at salaries outside this range candidate dependent.
