In this role you will be based in a large residential community, not a mining town.
You will be responsible for running the Geology department and in this role you will be responsible for;
- Manage mapping & Geological interpretation
- Grade control
- Weekly, monthly forecasting
- Mentor junior Geologist
- Contractor management
This role will offer you both the work life balance and family balance of being home every night, as well as the management and technical responsibilities associated with a small underground metalliferous mine.The suitable candidate will hold a degree in Geology, as well as have 8 + years experience in underground mine geology.Suitable candidate will be offered a salary between $140,000 - $160,000 + super + bonuses. Salaries outside this range will be considered for people with exceptional skills.
