Senior UI Developer

Very strong JavaScript and CSS skills are essential, with an emphasis on Ajax development and use of Javascript frameworks such as jQuery. This is a hands-on development role and requires a strong software development background.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in all phases of development from definition and design through implementation, debugging, testing and deployment to ensure all work is to the highest standards.
- Responsible for code reviews and technical quality standards from their external team
- Carry out meticulous system tests to ensure a high quality deliverable into QA

Essential:
- Experienced engineer with broad understanding of all the components of large consumer facing web front ends.
- Ideal candidate will have 5 plus years UI development experience
- Ajax development
- Strong Javascript skills, CSS skills
- Experience with jQuery(experience with jQuery UI an advantage)
- Practical knowledge of Source Control Management, specifically branching, tagging and merging of different code streams.
- Good understanding of web technologies, usability, Object Oriented programming and development frameworks.
