SENIOR UC/VOICE ENGINEER
Our client, a large telecommunications company based in Dublin is currently looking for a Senior UC/Voice Engineer to join their team. Due to a review of pipeline projects my client has determined a requirement for CCVP/CCIE Voice engineers to deliver additional booked orders.
The role of the Senior UC Engineer is to deliver high quality systems integration services to customer base and develop in-depth technological knowledge within the specialist domain. The engineer will also feed into the design teams where necessary with responsibility for ensuring technical accuracy of the technology proposed.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMIT TO:
- Design and implement solutions based on existing portfolio eg Cisco, Nortel and Microsoft etc which are underpinned by a solid understanding of IP Networking, Routing and Security.
- Assist in presentations to customers, verbal and written.
- Input to proposals where specific technical authority is required.
- Production of high level & low level design documents
- Assist in the closure of sales opportunities through the demonstration of technical capability and trusted advisor relationship.
- Input to the creation of accurate project plans, test strategies, handover documentation etc.
SPECIFIC SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:
- Lead Engineer on deployments and upgrades of Cisco CUCM Ver 8/9, UCCX, Cisco Unity Voicemail, Cisco Jabber and Cisco Telepresence.
- CCIE Certified
- CCVP Certified
- Verbal & Written articulation of complex technical solutions
