Senior Tester & Automation Engineer

We are looking for a Test Engineer to develop and fully automate and integrate regression test execution. As a Test Engineer you will design, develop, and automate execution of testing activities.

You will be joining project already started and being quick picking up knowledge and understanding current test framework is crucial.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and automate test cases execution based on test case design.
- Fully integrate with CI tools (Jenkins) and test reporting (Jira)
- Documentation of test automation

Work activities can include:

- Monitoring applications and software systems
- Stress testing
- Performance testing
- Functional testing
- Writing and executing test scripts
- Running manual and automated tests
- Quality assurance

JOB DEMANDS

The ideal candidate has the following profile:

- MSc degree in IT or Telecommunications (Relevant equivalent experience also considered).
- Professional experience on usage of Jenkins, SoapUI, Groovy, Java, Jira, Jmeter and continuous integration methodologies
- Hands on and theoretical knowledge of networking technologies (HTTP, TCP/IP, FTP,..)
- Hands on and theoretical knowledge of application integration technologies (XML, HTTP REST, JMS, SOAP)
- Hands on knowledge and experience with Unix (preferably on system admin level)
- Experience on jboss fuse and Apache camel is strong desirable
- Experience on nginx
- Experience with JAVA and kubernetes
- Familiar with Python
- Excellent English
- Problem solving skills
- The ability to work under pressure
- Attention to detail
- The ability to work in a team and individually
