SENIOR TESTER
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English speaking SENIOR TESTER to join the bank's PRIIPs and MiFID II programs within Sales and Trading IT. The successful candidate will report to Program Manager. This is a high-profile role working in a fast moving environment and demands a proven test engineer with strong testing experience in functional testing. The programs require UI and API testing of a complex set of trade order entry and financial product manufacturing applications.
For this contract position based in Zürich, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Write and maintain the test scripts to validate software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results
- Ensure test coverage for requirements by writing various test cases
- Prepare and setup test data for various test cases
- Able to engage proactively with the QA Manager regarding defect statuses, updates etc
- Provide feedback and support to the development team to resolve the issues and improve the deliverables
- Create, execute and document tests (technical, functional and non-functional)
- Ensure adherence to the CS testing standards, processes and methodologies to ensure efforts are delivered on time
You must possess:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Tester within banking
- Knowledge of API and interface testing
- Must have experience working with Waterfall/Iterative/Agile (Scrum) development teams
- Strong experience in using HP ALM(Quality Center) or equivalent tools
- Strong experience of testing core systems and Legacy business critical applications
