Senior Tester

Senior Tester with experience of financial systems (banking/Treasury) and good availability (1-2weeks) required to work on the testing and integration testing of an in-house banking system for a Major company in Amsterdam.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
*The coordination and execution of Testing for all aspects of the global end-to-end solution, both independently and in cooperation with the local Operating Companies
*Defect identification and management. The determination of defect cause & effect, the impact and prioritisation of the defects and their resolution management.
*Planning the defect resolution timescale and organising & executing retests.
*The identification of the defects in the global IT landscape, either independently or with inputs of stakeholders, and assign resolution to the relevant global teams
*The contribution to the test environment strategy and test environment management (TEM)
*The contribution to the Transition management to a BAU organization within the role of test management
*To ensure the correct setup of test & production like data for the testing & providing inputs on data refreshes potentially impacting testing

Key activities:
*Coordinate and execute testing covering all aspects of the global end-to-end solution
*Identify defects and coordinate with stakeholders (internal/vendors) to determine their cause, assess the impact and prioritize the defects, manage resolution and timelines of defects, and plan and execute retests
*Identify, independently or with inputs of stakeholders, any defects in the global IT landscape and assign resolution to the relevant global teams
*Coordinate and streamline testing with local Operating Companies
*Provide inputs to the Test Environment Strategy and Test Environment Management (TEM)
*Manage the transition to a BAU organization within the role of test management
*Ensure the proper setup of test data. Ensure production like data is used for testing. Provide inputs on data refreshes potentially impacting testing.

*Communication both written & oral with stakeholders in the local Operating Companies
*Contribute to the completion and review of testing and associated operating documentation (Test Environment Strategy and Test Environment Management)
*The application of test management strategies to the transition to a BAU organisation
*The management, integrity and set up of Production like test data.
The management of data refreshes potentially impacting testing

Must have knowledge and skills:
*Experience and expertise in projects with integration of treasury, banking, finance and ERP systems.
*5+ years experience in the testing aspect of delivering Projects in an international environment

Experience required across:
*Test planning, Test management, Test execution, Reporting, Defect management

Desirable:
*Test management & execution in an Agile environment
