Senior Tester

My client is looking for a Senior Tester to work initially on a short term project for a client in Holland. This opportunity will be working on a full time basis (40 hours a week during 5 working days)

DUTIES:
The consultants will perform the following tasks/services in relation to the solution:
Perform test analysis, design and execution of functional and technical tests related to the validation of the new EAS solution, based on the existing solution requirements and high level technical architecture, using testing tools amongst others HP Quality Center & QuickTest Professional and MS Team Foundation Server
Write/maintain test scripts for manual and automated testing, create/maintain representative test data
Support User Acceptance Testing and Operational Acceptance Testing activities
Identify and follow up defects status in close collaboration with DEV team, support developers in unit testing activities

The successful candidate will have the following skills-
Language level
MANDATORY: Working knowledge of English

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Mandatory:
a minimum of 5 years' experience in various areas of software testing
Mandatory: a minimum of 4 years of experience in conducting functional testing
Mandatory: a minimum of 2 year of experience in organizing/contributing to acceptance testing (UAT/OAT) of in-house/outsourced developed applications
Mandatory: a minimum of 2 years of experience in conducting non-functional testing
Desirable: 4 years' experience in using testing tools and defect- tracking systems
Desirable: 1 year of experience in test automation with JMeter or SoapUI
Desirable: 1 year of experience with Visual Studio Team Foundation Server
Desirable: 1 year of experience in functional test automation with VBScript using HP QuickTest Professional (Functional Tester)
Desirable:
1 year of experience in multi-national or law enforcement projects
Professional Knowledge - mandatory or desirable
Mandatory: Knowledge of formal specification-based test techniques (equivalence portioning, boundary value analysis, etc.).
Mandatory:
Knowledge of system integration testing
Mandatory: Knowledge of test data generation and management
Desirable: Knowledge of Law Enforcements Analysis tools (eg IBM iBase, Palantir Government or similar.
Desirable: Knowledge of ISTQB terminology, demonstrated by passing the relevant certification exam(s)
Desirable: Knowledge of performance testing (load & stress testing)
Desirable:
Knowledge of reliability testing (robustness & recoverability)
Desirable: Knowledge of technical security testing.
Desirable: Knowledge of SQL, Linux and Java.
