Senior Tester

One of Canberra's most established and high profile government department is looking to appoint a number of experienced SENIOR TESTERS to become an integral member of a multi disciplinary team in a rapidly changing project environment. Some of your responsibilities will include (but won't be limited to) analysing test processes, writing, reviewing and executing test cases; raising defect reports and mentoring staff 

The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria; 

- Minimum 5 + years experience as a Senior/Lead Tester
- Experience in Government agencies preferred
- Proven experience in database analysis of SQL server and Mainframe databases using tools such as RC Update, QMF, Hyperion, SQL Server Management Studio
- Proven experience in development & review of test strategies/test plans execution of tests according to plans; defect management and use of industry tools

On offer to the successful applicant will be a long term contract (with possibilities to extend) and a rewarding salary package which is negotiable depending on skills and experience.
