For our client, one of the most instantly recognisable brands in the banking sector, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced Senior Test Manager with project management experience in Zurich starting ASAP with a strong potential for extension.
SENIOR TEST MANAGER, ENGLISH AND GERMAN, BANKING (CONTRACT, ZURICH)
In this challenging senior role you will work on a large and complex regulatory project.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Monitor and control Vertical Testing of approx. 700 - 800 applications in 13 Streams
- Single point of contact for the implementation managers for all testing related topics and tasks
- Planning and coordination of test environments, scheduling of states in IT test environments (current state, iTOM, TOM) and manage state transition (dress rehearsals, activation)
- Coordinating, supervise and support 13 verticals Test Managers
- Coordination for testing of applications without central test environment
- Preparation and execution of End to End Testing
- Detailed planning and coordination of status of all test environments, including dress rehearsals
- Ensure readiness and availability of test environments and resolve issues accordingly
- Support Business for end to end tests
- Ownership and management of test-related risks (eg readiness and performance of test environments)
In order to be considered for this role you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Practical experience in test management of large, heterogeneous and decentral projects/programs
- Solid experience in a similar role in the financial services industry
- Proven track record in test management across large global programs
- Strong negotiation skills and assertiveness
- Goal-oriented, intrinsically motivated problem solver
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle a lot of activities in parallel
- Ability to successfully act in politically sensitive situations
- Fluency in English and German
