Senior Test Equipment Engineer

A test equipment design engineer is required to work on:
a) Digital Test Equipment Interface Design
b) Integration of a new Test Equipment Interface with existing UUTIn order to provide an Integration Facility in support of software and firmware integration and development in accordance with the programme requirements

Qualifications:
First or second degree (BSc, BEng, MEng, MSc, PhD) in Electronic Engineering (preferable) or related science (eg Physics) with specialisation in digital design and techniques

Essential Skills:
The following skills and experience are required:

- Experience of Hardware design and Schematic Capture of Digital Circuits is essential.
- Hands on experience involving Hardware Integration is essential.
- The ability to work as part of a multi discipline team is essential
- Self-motivated and a good communicator.

TOOLS:

- Mentor Graphics Design Architect/Board Architect
- Mentor Graphics Hyperlynx Simulation experience is desirable

Key Responsibilities:
To design and develop Hardware Integration Test Equipment in support of avionic products and development programmes.

Responsible for all engineering aspects in the design life cycle of the Test Equipment Hardware Design from requirements specification, design, development, to integration and validation of the test equipment.
