Senior Test Engineer

SENIOR TEST ENGINEER

Senior Test Engineer required for Cork based multinational company on a Twelve month rolling contract. This position will be responsible for carrying out test activities and ensuring that all products are adhering to a high standard. The successful candidate will join a development team in an exciting fast paced environment.

THE JOB:

- Carry out test plans, write test cases, schedule test runs and documenting requirements
- Testing new code to ensure releases are free from defects, resolving defects with team
- Conducting Bug Tracking and report accordingly
- Adhere to industry best practice standards and procedures
- Maintain test documentation when new functionality is released
- Liaise with Business analysts and end users

HAVE YOU:

- Experience with Software Testing tools - automated preferred (Selenium, Visual Studio Team System, HP Quick Test or Similar.)
- Ability to translate functional requirements into test cases is an advantage
- Understanding of browser testing and Defect tracking tools is an advantage
- Strong communication skills in English
