Senior Test Coordinator (Q3)

A new contract opportunity has arisen for a Senior Test Coordinator to join this large scale Queensland Government Corporation based in Brisbane CBD.

The Senior Test Coordinator will plan, direct, manage and deliver professional ICT quality testing services in a complex project and organisational environment across all aspects of the client. (Having proven experience working on SOE, Rollout and Desktop projects would be desirable)

The Senior Test Coordinator role will also plan activities and manage contracted, managed services or internal staff resources for the testing of multiple project outputs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE SENIOR TEST COORDINATOR WILL BE AS FOLLOWS;

- Develop test cases and coordinate/execute testing for the SOE Project covering all Desktop and Corporate applications.  This will require both direct liaison with business users and using project-based Business Analyst resources, where available and/or required.
- Coordinate and schedule all required testing and coordinate problem resolution and re-testing, where necessary.
- Work to tight project-based timeframes and milestones and producing high quality output.
- Facilitate workshops between users, the new Managed Services Provider, other projects and key  ICT representatives. 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING KEY EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES;

- Experienced in Quality Centre and be capable of developing and managing testing using this toolset.
- Experience in testing for SOE migrations (preferably Windows 7 and Microsoft 2010 upgrades).
- Knowledge and/or experience in testing the establishment of new ICT services and associated support processes.
- Possession of relevant academic qualifications in an Information System Management,
- Program/Project Management or Business Management related area, or other appropriate qualifications from a recognised tertiary institution
- Masters Level Degree Qualifications in Business and/or Technology (highly desirable)
- Bachelors Degree in an IT Discipline (highly desirable)
