SENIOR TEST CONSULTANT, BANKING, £450-£550/DAY + EXPENSES (DOE), 6 MONTHS, STOCKHOLM
TESTING, ISEB, ISTQB, SQL, TERADATA, BI, DATABASE, TEST DESIGN, DATA WAREHOUSE, V MODEL, HP QUALITY CENTER, HP ALM, TEST PLAN, BANKING, FINANCE.
Our client is a major European financial institution who are looking for a Senior Test Consultant to help with major transformation projects within the organisation.
The ideal candidate will be an ISTQB qualified test consultant, conversant with ISTQB testing terminology and with considerable experience delivering testing projects within a banking environment.
The test consultant will be familiar with a variety of testing methodologies, but V-Model in particular. Good working knowledge of HP tools will also be necessary in particular HP Quality Center (ALM). In addition you should be familiar with specific software quality standards.
NAMELY
- IEEE 829 Standard for Software Test Documentation
- ISO 9126 Standard for Software Quality Attributes
- BS 7925-2 Standards for Software Component Testing.
The test consultant should also be familiar with data warehousing projects and be familiar with data mining and have strong SQL skills for manipulating data. You should be familiar with Oracle databases and have the necessary skills to interrogate these types of systems. You should have strong knowledge of TeraData solutions also.
You will be responsible for conducting functional testing across a variety of projects and you will be required to create test requirements, produce test plans and define the testing approach. You will apply appropriate test techniques according to those plans. You will create technical tests including all test preparation and Scripting, execution and test reporting using the assigned tools and repositories.
You will have exemplary written and spoken communication skills (English) and your test documentation and reporting should reflect this.
