Job Description:

Would suit senior test analyst who is looking to gain experience in test management

The role is one where the individual will be responsible for co-ordinating various test phases for a project but will need to be able to undertake test analysis and test execution themselves. There is also a need for test management reporting to the PM and senior stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Oversee and co-ordinate various test phases including unit and system testing, operational and user acceptance testing, and liaise with the authority about system integration testing
* Draft test strategy and co-ordinate responses following pee review, the baseline
* Reporting into PM and programme management office on progress through various test phases
* Analysis of requirements and design documents to prepare test scripts for at least system testing
* Test execution and log results
* Ability to use test defect tool and/ or produce a defect log
* Able to represent project at governance gates
* Produce test completion report for all phases of test execution undertaken
* Produce and/ or co-ordinate evidence of functional and non-functional testing prior to product going into next test phase

Qualifications/Experience Required:

Experience of test conditions analysis

Experience of application testing

Experience of test management

Experience of test scheduling

Familiarity with IEEE standard for Software Test Documentation (IEEE-Std 829-1998).
