Our client, a leading global mobile telecommunications company, is looking to recruit a Senior Telecom Service Expert to join their new Development Center in Dublin. The Development Center has been created to allow the company to deliver the highest quality OSS and BSS systems to their customers and place themselves as a leader in management software for communication systems.
About the position:
Wireless network planning and optimization are the foundation of network performance. The Automatic RF parameter planning technology is the Kernel of the SON CCO technology. The Development center has been trying to explore the leading technology in rapid RF parameter optimization, to promote network performance and cut down network O&M cost.
Your responsibilities will include:

Guide and direct key technological trends of automatic RF planning and optimization.
-
High performance RF parameters planning and optimization algorithm designing to improve UL/DL coverage and capacity.

High performance coverage prediction algorithm designing.
-
Discuss with customers on business requirements and present to stakeholders.
Required skills and experience:
- Master or higher degree in computer science, software architectures and/or communications or significant relevant industry experience.
- A proven background in of R&D working experience in wireless network planning and optimization, network planning and optimization tools designing.
- In-depth knowledge of the algorithm design of network planning, simulation, propagation model, coverage predication, etc.
- Experience of software development with one of the following languages: c/C++, Matlab, Java, C#
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Worldwide short-term travel is required
