Senior Technical Specialist

My client is a large government organization seeking a Senior Technical Specialist to implement a new master and reference data product - Microsoft's Master Data Services, as part of a government program. This position will liaise with the program to undertake specialist analysis, design, development, testing and documentation in relation to Mater Data Services.

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL DISPLAY:

- Mandatory demonstrated experience with MICROSOFT MASTER DATA SERVICES in a Senior Developer role
- Demonstrated high level experience and proficiency in JAVA DEVELOPMENT
- The ability to provide advice to other technical staff and management on solution design patterns, standards and protocols for corporate reference data systems
- Significant experience in analysis, design, programming, testing and the preparation and maintenance of technical documentation.
- Ability to provide specialist application support and maintenance, investigate and resolve system incidents and data anomalies and maintain system performance in enterprise scale systems
- Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team environment with existing systems and teams
- Experience in system and integration testing of software developed by team members and supporting user acceptance testing
