SENIOR TECHNICAL RECRUITER SEATTLE, WA 6 MONTH CONTRACT

Our hugely popular client is seeking a qualified Technical Recruiter to take the lead in talent acquisition, engage business partners, and hire talented resources. Technical Recruiting experience is required to qualify, no exceptions.

This position will develop and lead specialized staffing projects that directly impact the enterprise. Candidates must have the ability to plan, organize, coordinate, execute, track, and evaluate projects while leading cross functional teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership

- Strong commitment and ability to achieve staffing objectives and results.
- Proactively identify issues and solutions using LEAN methodologies.
- Proactively builds relationships with peer employees and be regarded as a thought leader who in global talent acquisition.
- Possess expertise recruiting to participate in projects and drive innovation.
- Build strong cross functional relationships.
- Must have command leadership presence to positively impacts senior leaders throughout the client org.

Talent and Business Strategy

- Applies an in-depth understanding of the business environment, industry strategies, organizational structures and compensation practices in order to construct business cases for proposed solutions.
- Demonstrates expert level consulting skills with hiring managers on recruitment and talent strategies. Consults and influences with department or functional senior leaders on current and future openings, workforce planning and the future state of the organization.
- Works with Partner Resources generalists and business unit and department leaders to understand strategic business objectives and organizational design and to develop strategies to meet current and future talent needs. Plays an active role in the development and implementation of strategic talent planning processes.
- Proven ability to articulate a talent strategy to a broad group that impacts the business performance financially and/or functionally.

Work with Hiring Managers

- Demonstrated ability to influence, without authority, VP level (and higher) hiring managers to make appropriate talent decisions that are best for their business.
- Influence VP+ hiring managers on trends in the labor market to set realistic internal expectations.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to prioritize position requirements based on business need, and make tradeoff between quality and speed when filling requisitions.
- Manage full cycle recruiting process across multiple groups, primarily at director level and/or other challenging openings.
- Demonstrates an ability to influence the employment decisions of the business, prospects, and candidates.
- Proven ability to assess applicant/candidate quality, skills and fit and identify the best candidate for a position.
- Interview, offer, negotiate and close assigned requisitions while demonstrating an ability to provide value adding recruiting-related advice to management.

Strategic and Effective Sourcing

- Identify top-performing employees with competitors and rely heavily on direct sourcing in order to meet set goals.
- Create effective candidate network utilizing Web 2.0 capabilities.
- Use technology to locate, engage and attract prospective candidates.
- Demonstrate consistent ability to direct source talent and use optimum channels to find targeted sources of high quality candidates.
- Create and implement passive recruitment strategies to attract and retain high quality candidates with budget implications and impacts.
- Identify a steady stream of prospective talent in anticipation of future talent needs.
- Reduce search firm usage.
- Utilize automated applicant tracking system to support the recruitment process.
- Maintain strong relationships with candidates to negotiate counter offers.
- Engage appropriate communications with candidates, hiring managers, vendors, etc.
- Network and build effective relationships with passive candidates in addition to external parties to build a pool for current and future openings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Technical Recruiter experience required
- Must have experience with management and large enterprise resource management
- Human resources, staffing and recruitment or related functions 6 years
- Experience in a high growth, fast-paced environment 5 years
- Senior level and complex recruitment 4 years
- Leadership experience 3 years
